There are sunsets, and then there are Costa del Sol sunsets. 🌅
The light here does something unusual in the evening. The sky doesn’t just turn orange — it turns every shade between pale gold and deep amber, and the sea catches it all and throws it back at you. If you’re on land when it happens, it’s beautiful. If you’re on a boat in the middle of it — it’s something else entirely.
Two hours that feel like a different world
Our sunset cruises last around two hours. We head out along the coastline as the afternoon heat begins to soften, find our position, and then simply let the evening happen. Refreshments on board 🚤. The sound of water against the hull. The sky doing its thing.
Gibraltar and beyond
On a clear evening — and there are many of them on the Costa del Sol — you can see the Rock of Gibraltar to the west and the dark outline of the Moroccan mountains across the Strait. Two continents, one view, from the deck of a boat. It puts Marbella in perspective in a way that nothing else quite does.

Anniversary dinners are fine. But an anniversary sunset cruise on the Mediterranean — with the Costa del Sol glowing behind you and Africa on the horizon — is a memory.
